AI UGC ads for agencies: producing creative tests for many clients

How performance and creative agencies use AI UGC video ads: a weekly production workflow, client review, pricing the work, and the guardrails clients expect.

Agencies running paid social live on creative volume. Each client needs new hooks every week, in every placement, sometimes in several languages, and creator production rarely keeps up with that pace across a roster. AI UGC ads change the unit economics: the agency spends its time on strategy and testing, and production takes hours instead of weeks.

A weekly workflow

  1. Monday: review last week’s results per client and pick the angles to keep, cut or extend.
  2. Brief: keep one up-to-date brief per offer, with the facts, claims and audience the client has signed off.
  3. Scripts: generate new hooks on winning angles plus one or two new angles, then edit them in the agency’s voice.
  4. Client approval: send scripts for sign-off before anything renders. It is the cheapest point to change direction.
  5. Render and review: render the batch, share it through a review link, and export the approved ads.
  6. Launch: upload with the platform’s AI disclosure switched on, then repeat next week.

Working with clients

  • Agree on approved claims up front: a list of what the product can be said to do, with evidence.
  • Set the presenter rules: synthetic presenters only, never framed as customers, employees or experts.
  • Show scripts, not just renders: clients approve words faster than videos, and it avoids paying for rejected ads.
  • Report on angles and hooks, not on individual videos, so the client sees what the tests are teaching.

Pricing the work

Do not resell renders by the minute. The value an agency adds is choosing what to test, writing hooks that work and reading the results. Most agencies charge a monthly retainer for a fixed number of tested concepts per week, with production costs included or passed through. Because AI production is cheap, the margin moves from production to strategy.

Guardrails

The client is the advertiser and carries responsibility for claims and disclosure, but the agency is the one pressing upload. Write the disclosure rules into the agreement, keep a record of which ads used synthetic people, and decline categories where a synthetic presenter is restricted or would be misleading, such as health claims or testimonials.

How AdFace supports agencies

The AdFace Agency plan is $349 a month for 300 credits and 10 seats. Output volume depends on duration, ad style, model and resolution; check the estimate for each batch. Each client offer gets its own editable brief, scripts are edited and approved before rendering, review links let clients watch a batch without an account and can be revoked, and batches export as a ZIP. Ads can be made in English, French and Arabic, and a custom synthetic presenter can be created per client brand.

Questions this answers

Can clients review ads without an AdFace account?
Yes. A review link shows the batch to anyone who has it, and it can be revoked or set to expire.
Can I give each client their own presenter?
Yes. Presenter Studio creates a synthetic presenter from a description for 1 credit, private to your workspace, and you can add locations for it.
