Cookies and local storage

AdFace uses the smallest set of cookies that keeps you signed in and remembers your language. There is no advertising cookie and no cross-site tracking.

Last updated September 15, 2026

1. Essential cookies

A session cookie identifies you after you sign in. It is first-party, HTTP-only, and required: without it the app cannot keep you signed in. A short-lived cookie also protects sign-in forms against cross-site request forgery.

2. Preferences

Your interface language is stored in a cookie so a return visit opens in the language you chose. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device.

3. Analytics

If we enable product analytics, it runs without advertising identifiers, and this page names the provider and the retention period before it is switched on. We do not embed advertising pixels or social network trackers in the app.

4. Third-party pages

Checkout and billing management are hosted by our payment provider, which sets its own cookies on its own pages. Media you play inside AdFace is served from our storage, not from a video network.

5. Managing cookies

Every browser lets you list, block and delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking essential cookies signs you out and prevents sign-in; clearing local storage only resets your theme choice.

6. Changes

When we add or remove a cookie we update this page and the date above it.
